Busy busy busy

That is me right now. I am in full "change my lifes direction" mode, and it is BUSY. I attended another course yesterday, this time on Event Management. I have a few ideas rolling around in my brain, along with all the other mush, about an event I want to run and some public training sessions that I want to do. It's all helpful information about planning, sponsorship, funding etc....

So, I am overloaded! I am doing a training session with a few tri buddies on the weekend as part of my assessment for the Level 1 accreditation. I am running a swim session, and someone is going to observe it and then comment on how I went - I know you'll be nice, even if I'm hopeless (won't you??). Yesterday I swam the session myself just to make sure it was ok and something I would enjoy doing - I didn't die, so that's a start.

I have a few things to do to complete the course and get my accreditation, so have decided that my blog writing might have to take a back seat for the next couple of weeks while I sort out STUFF.

Training has been ok - I've been bloody tired which is starting to get, well, tiresome!!! I've got my half marathon race in 10days time, and I do NOT feel overly ready, but I know I will be able to complete it, and I guess that is still an achievement anyway.

So, bloggy peeps. I will be back once the envelope has been signed, sealed and delivered to Triathlon NZ - I want to be a coach very very soon so that I can get stuck in for this summer - priorities priorities.....

Take care, train safe, and race hard...

Not dying is a good plan!
And I do think it is easy to forget that being able to bang out a half mara IS an achievement, a HUGE achievement

Good luck with everything. I look forward to hearing about all of it when you've got the time.

I think doing the swim yourself was a great idea. I don't know a thing about event planning but that sounds right up your alley too. Good luck with all of it - and with the half marathon. I'm running one too - on August 3rd (only I'm more freaked out about mine than you are about yours!)

Good luck with everything. I look forward to hearing all the details and excitment once you are Coach Kathy.

It's contageous I tell you! You've inspired me to want to make a change in my life. I actually looked up coaching clinics here. The idea of merging passion with work with motivating others is very exciting! And lets face it, my job is so not!
