The Triathlon NZ Level 1 Coaching Course is confirmed for the weekend after next - IT'S ON
There was a chance that it might not be if there weren't sufficient numbers, but there is - so.... IT'S ON
And now I'm nervous again
((sigh))
But.... I will go.... I will be positive in my abilities.... I will NOT compare myself to the sub 10hr Ironman (I've been googling participants names - best not to know I decided and stopped at the sub 10hr Ironman)
I have something... different... to offer any athletes that take a chance on me and let me coach them. Then I get to call them MY athletes - cool.
I have a "back of the pack" perspective....
I have a "mummy guilt" perspective....
I have an "I love food, can't lose weight" perspective....
I have a "god I love achieving goals even if I suck" perspective. Or should I change that to "HAVE TO TRY HARD" perspective....
I figure there isn't actually too many of those coaches around, so why the heck not....
I'd go to me....
Well, I hope somebody does anyway, otherwise I'll just be coaching myself and The Saint, and he doesn't listen to a word I say
Only 9 more sleeps 'til I become triathlon brainwashed, as if I wasn't already

Kathy-that is awesome. You, no doubt, have a lot to offer your athletes. You've got an interesting perspective and you're also an Ironman, afterall!!

I've just been nosey-ing through the age lists for the PoT HIM - they've got you in the wrong age group I think!
Unfortunately they've got mine wrong, I seem to have more luck losing weight than age!

Wow! You're coaching? That's so cool. I'm sure there are people out there that want exactly what you have to offer, it's just a matter of finding them. Have fun!
There are so many people who have the same thoughts/feelings/perspectives... I am one of them! And I love my coach, but HE is FAST and a PRO. And I sometimes wonder if he really gets me. You have so much to offer as a coach!
You'll be a great coach! If you lived here, and I had the money, and a serious event to train for- I'd hire you.
