This was taken of the same mountain but on the way home. It looks like this town is right at the bottom of the mountain, but it isn't really - that's just my amazing phtography!!! lol
The view from the lookout I got to on my ride this morning. This is taken from the top of Minden Hill, looking out to Mount Maunganui. That area is where most of the local triathlons are held, and we usually run around the Mount base track (thankfully not UP it).
View from the same lookout, but out the other side to Omokoroa. We take the kids here in summer for a picnic at the park which is right on the beach. Really nice peaceful spot.
